Press Release-CSJPA Student Resiliency Golf Fundraiser 2017

Students are our future, but recent statistics have shown that over 3.2 million students are victims of bullying each year. Bullying is a growing cultural problem and California Schools JPA (CSJPA) is on track to work with as many schools as possible to reduce the rising incidents associated with bullying behavior. Consequences of bullying range from poor performance in school and poor self-esteem to the extreme of suicide. Nearly 12 years ago, one of the CSJPA team lost her 12 year old granddaughter to suicide after she had been severely bullied in school. From that dark time, the Student Resiliency Golf Tournament was born.

When the mob and the press and the whole world tell you to move, you job is to plant yourself like a tree beside the river of truth and tell the whole world: No, YOU move.
